- Grip a healthy, full-size leaf close to the stem and pull firmly toward the leaf tip to detach it cleanly at the base. A partial snap that leaves part of the base attached won’t produce a plant.
- Set the leaf on a dry surface (paper towel or empty tray) for 24–48 hours to form a callus over the wound.
